Whilst gaining valuable on the job experience, I also achieved a L2 Estate Agent Apprenticeship, completing with a Distinction. Through Countryside offering career progression and internal opportunities; I have been able to experience different roles within my department enabling me to determine the area which I felt most suited my ambitions. I have been supported by my department to understand many different aspects of the job. I have benefitted from mentoring and have been able to learn through colleagues who have gone through similar processes and experiences.

About my job

I am a hands-on learner and the Apprenticeship has excelled my learning and enabled me to progress within the company. I have developed more practical skills than I ever would have in the classroom. Financially, I have been able to earn while I learn. Countryside provide a lot of support and recognition to their trainees, and a highlight for me in 2021 was winning the Sales & Admin award presented to me at the ECTA Excellent Trainee Awards.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Apprenticeship; I feel very well supported by the company and I am committed to continuing with my development. I have enjoyed being able to apply what I learn within my apprenticeship into my day to day job. I have developed professional relationships and been able to meet new people within the industry. The Apprenticeship has also enabled me to build my confidence and find my career path. I look forward to starting my Level 4 Marketing course to continue my development.
