Management takes place at many different levels from a Chief Executive or Managing Director with responsibility for a whole business, through to Directors of separate divisions of a business, operational departments and specific activities or projects. Many people come in as Management Trainees and work their way up through the ranks of a business or progress in a specific role or discipline.
