Human Resources

Staff are the backbone of a company; without them we couldn't build any houses at all. As such, the Human Resources department is a key resource for any business. They provide training and support for our employees, make sure that they abide by company policy and government legislation, and – most importantly – keep the business rolling by managing the company payroll.

Initially there are no qualifications needed to into an HR role, but a good overall standard of education would be beneficial. In order to progress further though, it’s possible to study towards professional qualifications, such as the Certificate from the Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Many house builders will also have their own in-house training programmes that may include working towards professional qualifications.
